    Flight Instruction

    Have you dreamed of becoming an airplane pilot? Let’s make it happen. Whether you are following an interest in aviation or pursuing a career, flight training is a highly rewarding pursuit that will yield a lifetime of enjoyment. 

    An introductory flight lesson with me is a chance for you to fly in the front seat of an airplane, take the controls and experience aviation up close. I will be there to guide you, answering any questions you have and ensuring you feel comfortable and informed throughout.

    After the flight, we’ll sit down together to discuss your aviation goals and develop a training plan.

About Me

My name is Tim. I’m an FAA certificated commercial airplane pilot and flight instructor. Aviation has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I started flying when I was 14!

My objective is to provide an opportunity for others to experience the amazing perspectives that airplanes offer- it’s better than the airlines, trust me! As a full-time forester, I love to share my knowledge of our beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape. Whether you want to see your neighborhood from the sky, are in need of a platform for aerial photography, are considering flight training, or any combination, please contact me to talk about how we can collaborate.

I operate from the Troutdale Airport (KTTD) on the east side of Portland, OR and offer flights and lessons in Cessna 172 and Cessna 152 airplanes. These are two of the most successful and widely produced aircraft in history. Our fleet of reliable airplanes is maintained even beyond the FAA standards to provide you a safe and enjoyable experience with new perspectives from the sky.
